Barcelona la la la la la la la...

Hey, guess what my baby is of to Barcelona again. For a week. I'm gonna miss him like crazy. But hey, it's only a week...

His flight was at 6am this morning, and I thought that it was awfully kind of him to have me over last night. It was so nice just to relax and chat, all we did was burn CD's and drink wine, the bad thing was that he had a taxi booked for 3.30 in the morning, so we both had to wake up. He got his cab and I walked home in the rain...

I remember last year when he went away I was soooo depressed over it. dunno why, but may be it was because I was so attached to him and we had been seeing so much of each other, and I had never spent any length of time away from him. It sounds really sad as I type it out now, but that's exactly how I felt and I couldn’t help it. But it's all good right now, I'm obviously gonna miss him and it's no big deal at all.

Kati is also going away tomorrow for her holiday, she's going away for 2 weeks and I'm gonna miss her too. I'm gonna miss our girly chats on the phone and our lunches on a Saturday. lol!

It seems like everybody is going away and I haven't bothered to get myself sorted. I dunno whether it's because I don't want to go away some where desperately enough, or the fact that I don't have any spare cash to do so. But we'll see, may be all this might give me a good old kick up the bum!

Hey remember my ramblings about my MD player getting damaged a few weeks ago (in the rain). Well it turns out that I did have insurance on it for up to 4 years from date of purchase, so I really happy with that. Dixons took it in to repair and about 2/3 weeks later I received a letter saying that they have to write it off because it was so badly damaged and I got vouchers for the value of my MD player which was £250 and I also got money towards new insurance! woo hoo.

I went back to Dixons to get a new one and it turns out that the one that I wanted really badly was £279, and if you know me really well you will know that I would always go for the top of the range gadget, so that's what I did, I mean what's an extra £30. And plus, it's a Net Mini Disc player which means I can get loadsa MP3 and it comes with software which allows me to transfer music e.g. 5 minutes of music in 5 seconds, pretty cool huh? wanna see?

Pretty damn cool huh? I also treated myself to some new earphones as the ones that you get given with any new MD player are pretty rubbish. Sony. £35. I know I know!

SWEET JESUS!!! music has never sounded so good! I was totally bowled over at the sound, the clarity the bass the treble it was AMAZING! (can you guess that I'm pretty big on sound?) The first album I played on it was Michael Jackson's Bad the remastered version. I tell you it was like listening to it for the first time, it sounded so so good I can't explain it. I was blown away!

So I'm a real happy girly! woo hoo!

What day is it today? Thursday, that's right, Tone To The Bone class to day... I've really gotta get stuck in to the gym and loose some darn weight. I have a concert to go to in August, Ben's taking me to see Wynton Marsalis, another jazz concert which is gonna be on the 3rd, it's part of Edinburgh's Jazz and Blues festival so it should be good. When Ben told me on Sunday I automatically thought that it would be just me and him, but then he went on to say that his work mates Greg (who B is of to Barcelona with) and Brendan and Malcolm are coming along...(me and the boys again!). I actually like Greg and Brendan they're sound guys, its Malcolm he's kinda odd a bit of an eccentric, like to call him a homo-erratic, get what I'm saying. Whenever I'm out with B and Malcolm is there, B always tells me to be wary of him.... hmmm.

Anyway back to what I was saying. I've gotta go back to the gym and get stuck in as by August 3rd I will look stunning! woo hoo!
